'Wild Down Under'
Almost two decades ago the BBC Natural History unit made the 'Landmark' series called 'Wild Down under'. The series was accompanied by a beautiful 'coffee-table' book and I was fortunate enough to have an image in that book. This presentation also takes a look at some of the amazing wildlife in both Australia and New Zealand. Having worked for the Department of Conservation in New Zealand on the Kakapo project, I will report on how this amazing species is getting on. This bird is 70 years old and it's thought they can live to over 100 !

We will take a look at Chamois and Ibex in the Gran Paradiso (Italy) and take a look at one of Europe's oldest trees in The Dolomites.
